Are there any health or medical conditions that would make laser therapy an unsafe treatment?
If you are pregnant, have cancer or epilepsy, or are taking photosensitive medication, laser therapy should not be used for smoking cessation treatment. Laser therapy promotes cell growth and repair, so studies are inconclusive on the effects of the above situations. Not treating these particular clients is a precautionary measure. Is it guaranteed?
Treatment using low-level laser therapy is designed to help the client physically cope with urges and cravings. The low-level laser does not take away your psychological addiction to nicotine. During the procedure the client watches a video that will provide tools on how to live a nicotine free lifestyle. The videos main purpose is to direct the client on how to effectively breaking their psychological addiction to nicotine. Each client has a unique level to his/her addiction, so laser therapy cannot be guaranteed. Midwest Laser Centers will work closely with each client to insure their success.
How much is laser therapy treatment and what is included?
The treatment costs $349 and includes education about nicotine addiction, a sixty day supply of six antioxidants, and our Midwest Laser Centers nonsmoker support kit. One free retreatment is available for ninety days from initial treatment.
